So managed to get the doc to squeeze me in yesterday afternoon.
X rays today.
Have one of those neck braces to wear. It helps some.
See how it goes.
Hope it's just a little R&R and maybe some alcohol related PT to make it better.

Good Morning Everyone. I hope all is well. Sorry about the high running temps and oil leak @Mopar Tim I agree with others that it sounds like a crankcase pressure issue if only leaks at 5K or more. I assume, you cleaned it off well, drove at rpm less than that, no leaks. Then ran it to upper rpms and this was when the leak showed?

Seriousy thinking wrong pcv, remember vac usualy drops then also so would the flow to the crankcase in Vac. Tim I have a bunch of NORS ones I can send you to try, not sure of the applications of them or how to see what the flow is on them.
 
Oil leak at 5,000 usually associated with hard accelleration, thats why i suggested raising front of car,and adding a couple qts. Sloshing to rear of pan,could be finding its way out.

It is a solid plan to try, I just question how much oil is actually in the pan at 5K. To me, it seems like pressure is building. But, I am usually wrong..
 
Never knew there were different flow rates to pcv valves
Yup, there is a number on the pintle if you look in on the vacuum side, think that is the weight, and the spring rates vary too. There are adjustable valves as well. Cant run a straight line to carb as it would suck oil and in the event of a backfire it could cause an interesting event.

Think I am finnaly ready to get rid of my OLD Snap on lower box, draw slides are done non roller type. Really like the HF one for 400, the wife asked me what I want for Bday so.....
