Stop in for a cup of coffee

OK.. I'm coming up with this story in my head based upon the images. Really??
Really. 2010 SRT8 6 speed. Bought it for less than $10 We have about $15 in it. It only needed a drivers fender and front bumper cover as far as painted items. Oil pan, radiator/coolers, drivers front suspension, 2 wheels and tires, windshield, dash, reset the seat belt retractors. etc.

Nice find

Had some conversations with a couple of buddies not long ago about the horsepower and responsiveness you can drive off a showroom floor today with ZERO training or understanding.

As we say...it's easier to rework things when your mean-time-to-failure approaches zero....

If stuff works out right I may even stab another engine/4speed combo as well in the coming days.

Another vehicle leaving my property. 99 ish ranger. Was going to haul it for scrap, but ran when parked. Buddy wants to put powertrain into an old mustang. 4.0 v6. So we give it a snort of gas and it fired right up.

This weekend i will be working on yard cleanup. And level slab at my back door. It slopes towards house. Rain water finds its way into basement there.

Finished changing out the fuel tube seal at the trunk floor today on the GTS. What a PIA. Got er done tho. Will put seat belts in tomorrow...

So the rubber stretching helped...

I find it useful for tight condoms also.... :D

Morning gents.

Getting things going. Coffee brewing

Had a good chat with theheaterboxguy yesterday. Thanks for the reference Hop. Trying to decide on just replacing the door or having him refurbished the whole thing...

And welcome to October

Richie is a good friend. Drop my name or tell him Ray the distributor guy sent you you might get a break.

And if you have to go to the bathroom, mention my name and they'll give you a good seat....

While I was healing up from eye injury I got the chance to put the Demon on the dyno for final fuel mapping refinement. The race shop I use runs a Mustang Dyno, notorious for being stingy with torque numbers. At 5200 rpm (6.1 Hemi) I am at 452 HP at the tire and still well north of 400 on torque. I about peed down my leg listening to them wind her up. My idle is still a bit high as a result of a vacuum leak I need to chase down. But man she runs! Holy Smokes. Well pleased

Well you boys and one girl tossed up almost thirty pages I think since I hurt my eye. I am now patchless and can see, but vision is a bit blurry. What a total pain in the butt. Glad to be able to read again. I tried reading with one eye but it just did not work well. Not sure I am man enough to back read. Happy Friday

Eye feel your pain...
