Stop in for a cup of coffee

Eventful Friday for me, got home from school (now on 2 week break) and instantly started on ripping the duster apart. Radiator, trans cooler, carb and trans linkage, all wiring connected to the motor, starter, driveshaft, etc all removed. Just need the motor mounts and hood unbolted then the slant is OUTTA THERE!!!!
Hopefully same day at least mount up the 318 in the car.

Well after a hard day of prepping for the big move tomorrow we had a great evening.
We sat on the deck for the last time, drinking Crown together, (love this girl) then we slow danced to Stevie Nix...perfect last night.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Well tonight was interesting.

went to the local Octoberfest here in Seymour. They had a local band doing a tribute concert for Johnny Cougar Mellencamp, being it’s his home town. Anyway, about halfway through the concert, some guy walks up onto the stage right as the band was finishing “Jack and Diane”. Chased by two cops, guy stops, turns around, cops stop dead in their tracks, the band goes silent, crowd is silent, then the guy takes the microphone from the lead singer, suddenly I realized who it was, ole Johnny Cougar himself. He then broke the ice and sang Small town with the band. Then thanked everyone and went about his way

My old neighbor ran an electrical contracting business... He once told me that John Mellencamp worked for him for a while back when he was young before he started singing... But John moved on after a while, deciding that electrical work wasn't his thing...

Moring Mellon lovers!

Hey Mike up early for you?
a little early, had a big gathering of friends at another shop, played music and I drank a bunch, well a drank from 3 to 9pm.. hung over yesterday and rested a bunch, got up and drinking coffee, feel much better this morning

Morning Ray, Mike.
Looking for something to do with friends today.
One suggested Carlisle. I told them my legs aren't up to it.
Still may have about an hour to decide . Need to put in third row of seats in Escalade. 7 won t fit otherwise.

I think I am not going there also. Really rather go to Hershey, cant afford to do both, I seem to get better deals there since it is mostly other makes and older cars. Possibly the new Chris(Willy) might go also

I gave a friend 6ft 9 inches 350 plus pounds.
He started using a motor chair about 12 years ago.
Liked it so much he refused to walk at all.
He is bed ridden the last 4 now.
I'll just keep pushing.
No pain no gain.

Had a fun daypulled the Valiant and GOT out of the garage.
Tossed them the keys. They were gone better part of the day, they went to Valley Forge.
Gave me time to tamp the bricks down.
Maybe power wash today. Then put in sand , and stain bricks.

Morning travel planners.
It's moving day here...time to get the hell out of here.:D
