Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
High class drinkers, I have low class coffee, so I figured everyone else does too..lol
I hope to get a couple bags of high class coffee beans from Mr Hotz before he heads back to work. Unfortunately he caught the plague and the roaster has been on lockdown. In the meantime I will have to go across the street and get some more low class grinds from the discount grocer.

Oil change. oil change. Oil change. Tire swap. One of them days.

Think 16 or so for me.
Hey Ray, do you want a slant distributor that I rebuilt using parts I bought from you earlier this year? Now that I have the V8 in my duster I have no use for it and It would be a shame for that brand new distributor to just rot away with all brand new parts in it.

Well, son of a *****. Still will not shift soon enough at light throttle. I am going to call my builder, see what he has to say.... When I was driving down my driveway. it seemed to shift perfect. But when warmed up, not. I am going to rethink this, put adjustment in the "correct" place, see what happens....

I can relate, but its been a few years back working at a GMC dealership. Hang in there, the day gets better I hope
When I was 21, I worked turning wrenches at a Chevy, Honda dealer. They thru me in the deep end and quick!! I rebuilt an entire early suburban, and I do mean entire!! Dealer was out on strike, and my father owned it, so I crossed the picked line daily. That is another story.

Oil change, check heater motor. Ya, its full of insulation and seeds. I hate those jobs. Its done. I cut the screen that doesent keep anything out to save having to remove motor. Because it wont drop out very easy.

94 Benz S320.Told me the battery light was on. It's the low coolant light( img of low rad ):rolleyes:. Check engine light also. PO441, Loose gas cap...:rolleyes:.....:BangHead::BangHead:

So, just for a try, I disconnected the kick down linkage all together. Drove it, Still will not up shift correctly. If you are in drive, from start, it will not up shift to second, unless you manually shift it to second. Then it will, only at high engine speeds. I called builder and I want to see what he thinks. But any more thoughts from the brain trust?
