Well, thats no fun. Unbolt exhaust and front driveshaft. Then pull transmission crossmember to get them out. Put crossmember back in. To get the 2 upper bellhousing bolts,pull intake. Below intake there are 2 8mm threaded holes in block. Thats what i used to lift engine out with a chain.. Ratchet strap to front of engine for angling. No need to remove rad, just the fan shroud.

Nice here. Need to get out and mow around the house. Pulled weeds and mowed the backyard including where the bees were. They seem to be gone. Grass was a foot high in that corner. LOTS of walnuts. I just mowed over them :steering:Many still on trees. One fell a few feet from me. Closest branch was way up. Every year I think I should get a hard hat, but haven’t.:eek:
 
I was watchin' the local news yesterday and the City of Santa Barbara has decided to close part of a city street until May. None of Santa Barbara is flat until you get down by the harbor. They had a small brush fire a short time ago that completely stripped a 3-1 slope of all vegitation. Houses at top of slope survived, no housing on the street at the bottom of the slope. They foresee rain induced issues they may not be able to keep up with for the winter.
 
Morning, gone for three days. My back read started at the pump organ. Have a man lift coming today to trim some dead branches from some trees around the place.
 
Rain tomorrow and Sunday that means I gotta take the gutters apart today to unclog. Going to be busy, waiting for my "virtual" doctors appt., no call yet : (

I get a virtual dr appointment on the 18th. Same day for my booster shot,at the same clinic.
