Great pix, Holley totally photo bombed ya!The other day while my Mae was grilling a couple steaks, I was telling Holley that cows are full of steaks and burgers. But you can't go bite them. Alex (my son who is a butcher) knows how to get them out....

Got a lathe or a live center? You can mic the lobe lift and compare that buy not the duration or overlap without a degree wheel and a dial indicator. So anyone know how to spec out a camshaft with a micrometer to verify it against a cam card? I’m watched a couple YouTube clips but still have questions
Guess I’m buying a degree wheel. I have a brand new comp cam and I’ve been seeing lots of reports of a huge drop in QC on all their stuff. Makes me nervousGot a lathe or a live center? it'll probably be fine, even though I don't know what the hell QC is.Guess I’m buying a degree wheel. I have a brand new comp cam and I’ve been seeing lots of reports of a huge drop in QC on all their stuff. Makes me nervous
Quality Control. Especially on their camshafts and valve trainsit'll probably be fine, even though I don't know what the hell QC is.
well ****. I just got new 901 valve springs from them last week.Quality Control. Especially on their camshafts and valve trains
Yeah I bought my cam back In July.well ****. I just got new 901 valve springs from them last week.
And I'm getting a cam in the next few weeks.
only one way to find out I guess
jeebus. I always thought comp had their stuff together in manufacturing.Yeah I bought my cam back In July.
Buddy local to me with a similar cam had things way out of spec. Couldn’t even bolt on the cam gears, and the lobes were off by several degrees.
Well to be fair, these labor shortages and raw material shortages have had QC drop across a lot of industries.jeebus. I always thought Holley performance group had their stuff together in manufacturing.
yeah, good thing that you can still go around and find older cams for sale.Well to be fair, these labor shortages and raw material shortages have had QC drop across a lot of industries.
Mine was made 11/2020 so I’m hoping it’s okyeah, good thing that you can still go around and find older cams for sale.
