I learned something about oxygen bottles when I became a miner. My dad got me started gas welding and brazing when I was just a kid but he never mentioned this to me. The oxy bottle valve has 2 seats in the valve, 1 at closed of course and the other at full open. The valve not opened to the full amount it is very likely that it will leak around the valve shaft. Of course I had to test this bit of information and I'll be darned if that MSHA inspector/instructor wasn't right.

Lady from my Church just called me to ask about selling her late husbands 70 Duster. I did some work on it a few years ago. Brakes I think. Anyhow, B5 blue , with 318 A/T. Told her I will come look at it next week, and perhaps post it for sale here on FABO......

Any chance he turned the regulator pressure to zero?
I had that happen to me when I let a guy use my oxy act. Torches years ago. Left the bottles open but cranked the pressure to zero.

What a day, just dumped a dang big *** dog bone down the shitter! Dogs left a whoops in the dog bed blanket, took it to toilet, dump and flush. Surprise, 4 inch long 2 inch in diameter dog bone pops out of the blanket and "It's in the hole".

Heading to this show in a few min. It should be a good one. The last one we went to was Margaretville. It was a good one. Then to the neighbors house for a surprise retirement party.
