Stop in for a cup of coffee

The right thing to do is sell to the first PM. Wheelin' and dealin, and exchange of addresses and Pay Pal information is through a PM anyway. You're there already with the offer to buy. Some guys will claim they are first just because they posted a "what color" question or the like.

Well speaking of flakes the guy who was supposed to show me a Kubota diesel UTV flaked out and didn't call me back. We agreed I'd call him for address yesterday after I got off work, I called, VM, no return call and I see the ad is down on C list. Sold it I guess.

Last two time I got to drive on turnpike for free. They don't send Bill to California. Yea

When I bought my truck in Minnesota, I forgot to bring my I-pass for the tollway... I realized that before I got on the tollway and thought I need to get the dealer's license plate frame off the truck so the toll road doesn't see that and contact the dealer to see who bought a truck like that from them that day...

I stopped at a gas station to buy a screwdriver and they didn't have any.... :wtf:

How sad is it when you can't buy a screwdriver at a gas station like we could in the old days???

Anyhew... I still needed to get the license plate frame off so the tollway couldn't use that to track me down... I used a dime to get the first one off and it came off ok... The second screw was too tight (That's what she said... :D) that I had to really crank on it to get it loose and I finally did, but it hurt my fingers to put that much pressure on them....

So I was able to drive on the toll road and stick it to the man because there was no license plate or info for them to track it to.... :D :icon_fU:

true this !! And good morning again

well said sir

witch thread, I did see one in a for sale thread Karl disagreed on, the member said its sold so
Karl posted he sent a pm 10 minuets after the sale went up.
Another member asked to be secondv in line.
A few days later the seller reports pictures of what's for sale aga in. Two minuets after that the seller posts sold to first person to respondv I should have held a an auction.lol.
You draw your own conclusions as to what happened.
Maybe it's a straight up deal, but it sure smells funny.

Not any more. They fired over 6 thousand toll collectors. Post covid..all camera enforcement now

Illinois has not had manual toll booth collectors in years... They did have some "manual' tolls where you put the money in the basket, but those are going away fast... Now you just run the toll and have to look it up online to pay...

Now they have gone to I-pass to electronically pay the tolls... You pay half of what non I-passers do....

A few toll roads here have tolls as $3 - $4 per toll... :BangHead: :icon_fU:

When they first built the toll roads, they said that the tolls would end in 1973... Well, still waiting for that to happen....
