A lot of people do that. I had a PM discussion on Friday trying to teach a old guy that when you hit reply you can type in your message. He was always hitting reply , creating a quote and then replying in the next post.

OK, Because there was no "sale" (no parts or money changed hands) you can't give the seller negative feedback. The feedback system is for sales only and not "I was first" discussions. The mods had a discussion about negative feedback a while back and we concluded that if you didn't buy anything you can't give feedback. Now, if you feel different take that up with Joey. Also it has been stated publicly in posts that the first PM should be the first buyer but as a seller, you can sell to whoever you choose. There are a couple guys I will not sell to regardless of whether they are the first PM or the first "I'll take it" on the sale thread.
