Several years ago we had an accumulation of partial scrips of meds I wanted to dispose of. looked up what to do. I forget exactly, but ended up mixing it in a bag with wet coffee grounds and dirt I believe. So neither people or animals would have any interest in it. Then pitch in the trash.Meaning go home ad flush them And more crap to the water suppy.
Good plan

I had Oxy one day after my heart surgery and they switched me to extra strength Tylenol. I don't want any of that stuff.Funny story about that Oxycotton stuff. After a small incident involving a tree some tequila and a Harley the Doc scripted me that stuff. It gave me bad ju ju dreams. To the point I was sleeping with 45 in hand on chest. Decided no way I was doing that so took bottle back to Doc and told him I needed something different and told him I did not want those in my home. (Think substance abuse individual in home). Doc told me he could not take them back I needed to dispose of them in a very complex protocol involved process. I shrugged tossed them in his trash can problem solved and walked out.
That was a 100mph plus pass on PCH by a crotch rocket. Must be a slow day for produce trucks today

I'm sure they have a "watch out for motorcycles" sign in their front yard and the same sticker in their back window.
Well, I’m sadly back home, not a thing to shoot this morning and finally got too cold.

I lived there between 1962 and 1967. Beautiful country. Live in the Capital City of Vienna...Austrian brothel offering free entry, private sessions for those who get vaccinated on-site
Anyone wanna go to Austria haha

Last weekend had some hunters walk up my driveway and start to head to my back pasture. Had to go and tell them they were in the wrong area, to much livestock around here. Started getting a little lippy with me till I said my land my rules.
Yeah but y'all get it every year and are prepared for it. We didn't get snow this time.....it was all ice at least where I live. I grew up in New England so I know about what winter is like and I don't remember losing power in a non wind event. Last time we had an ice storm here my power didn't go off but it did this last time. Not used to having my house inside temp in the 50's especially when the temps were in the high 60's just a couple of days earlier and the houses here ain't built for extended temps in the low teens. I'm sure the refinery I used to work in had another total freeze up like it did in late 89 when the temps hit 7 degrees. Refineries up north have insulation on key components or are in sheds etc. It's been said that we lost power because several gen plants were down and the others couldn't handle the load and the wind turbines iced up to add to the cluster screw up. And it looks like there's not much of a move on fixing the problems with our power grid.....Wah, wah, wah, Texas got a little snow...
What you had then was nothing for us up here...
As a Hunters Safety Education instructor one of the things I stress in all of my classes is knowing where you are at all times while hunting. With all the apps now for phones there is just no excuse for getting caught on private land. And if you have permission keep your permission slip on your person with contact info to land owner. I cannot tell you how many times hunters have tried to bluff their way out on our farm explaining they had permission from owner. Once you explain to them they are in fact speaking with the land owner the conversation changes a bit. It is always dicey as everyone there is armed. Many a disastrous event has ensued due to escalation of the encounter. Note to self, just because someone is trespassing you do not have the right of deadly force. Apologies but the firearms instructor comes out of me on this topic.
Might be different there than here. I know a guy that owns an 88 acre tree farm and I've been on the land several times helping out with various things and hunters have been caught on it several times. Scott has disarmed them every time at gun point and then called the sheriff and so far, no repercussions. Maybe that's not considered deadly force here?As a Hunters Safety Education instructor one of the things I stress in all of my classes is knowing where you are at all times while hunting.
