its capable to achieve 40mpg????????
40.7 MPG average for the manufacturer fleet I believe is where it.fell....
That's an *** -kicker with the Hemi at 16mpg...
FYA- I'm not a fan of the rule
its capable to achieve 40mpg????????
i was not aware of anything over 22.
My 2015 VW gets 48 MPG. 32 in town. AND it is not a slug to drive.....It's not... the rule is that the average MPG for a manufacturer has to be 40 mpg. The intent I believe was to incentivive EV development. So Dodge has to hit a 40 mpg "average" of the cars they offer.
An all electric or gas/electric gives them room to maneuver
Edit to add...
Some "fun" reading:

They got their pee pee stepped on for fudging the MPG I believe. I wonder how much of that went on elsewhere. We did a lot of mileage tests at the dealer back in the day because of big numbers on the window sticker.Yup.. I think VW is still paying fines for that engineering.
My 66 get's 19 and the same for my 70 318 car.huh, my 92 sonoma gets 16.5 mpg. (at its best)
i'd guess the duster gets 10...

I have Gladys, my 1975 F250HD Camper Special. 351M, Weiand Action Plus intake, Street Demon 625 three barrel, T18 4 speed, Dana60 with 3.73 gears. She routinely knocks down 15-17mpg and could probably do better if I didn't cruise her 60-65, or dump the humongoid secondary door open on a regular basis. She has 235/85/16 tires so they're pretty tall and that helps. I just bet were I to limit speed to just 55 and never crack that rear barrel, she'd knock on 20's door. That's impressive for a truck with an 8100 pound GVWR. Of course, I keep her in good tune, too.huh, my 92 sonoma gets 16.5 mpg. (at its best)

WRONG!
The government is SUPPOSED to work for us, whether we draw a paycheck from them or not. It's their job to serve the American citizens and they're doin a damned PISS POOR job of it, so I or anybody else has every right to be pissed off at them.
Signed: Pissed off redneck in Georgia. lol

There's a hand blown replica of a still inside the bottle. The juice inside is supposed to be good as well and not a bad price for the proof. (132 proof. $83)
