Well I am finally first this morning! Hah! On my way to airport for a day of masked up, arghh. I am to the point in my life that air travel unless absolutely no other choice is just not for me. I have to fly home but I get to drive back. A mere fifteen hour drive is still better for me than flying. Flying used to be relaxing and enjoyable, it has morphed into something very different today. I would really like to go see Cousin MeMike up on the hill while home but fear family obligations are not going to allow for a window of opportunity. We literally live on opposite sides of the State. Catch ya next trip cuz. Happy Tuesday all y’all.
I may be down toward your neck of the woods next month. I’m trying to scrape it together as I just learned last night, Gene Winfield is going to be putting on a clinic down there next month. It’s closer than flying out to CA for one. Just days before Christmas so that completely complicates thingsMorning guys. 27° Should be sunny today. I'll take that.

They got their pee pee stepped on for fudging the MPG I believe. I wonder how much of that went on elsewhere. We did a lot of mileage tests at the dealer back in the day because of big numbers on the window sticker.
Metal work. Shaping and maybe leading. Watched a video on guys filling with lead. Pretty cool.Did a little read on Gene, interesting life. What goes on in his clinic?
Everyone I know that has one (I used to) all are getting the MPG, it was the emissions that they fudged. Not as clean as they let on, did special emissions calibrations for the tests.
I had some old metal finishing tools, passed them on to a guy that did prop and lower unit repair. My friend does lead he gets it first shot. Interesting to watch for sure.
Pretty much obsolete, but im sure there is a long list of requirements for working with lead. Gene doesent use any protective gear.I wonder what the OSHA rules are for that?
