Congrats!! I ended up with a couple hundred more points than you. For those here that don't know each point represents a day in uniform.
Cheryl has about the same points you have. She finished up her retirement packet last week.
When do you get that first check??

Like havin' 78 "credits" in my pension fund. Credit=1000 hrs.

So GV thinks I need a new Speedo cable. Has to operate very smooth. No bounce at all. Bad design IMO.

Gave good info how to trouble shoot using drill to replicate car being driven. On Speedo cable....

First job of the day done. This little slab had dropped over 2 inches where it meets the driveway. Jacked it up and slid bricks under the end and packed some dirt in. I did similar to the other side against the porch several years ago and it didn't crack. 3-4 inches thick, so hoping it holds up.

Damn pre lit Christmas trees. I finally found the last 2 plugs. I'm going to copy my MIL's idea and tie festive ribbons to the plugs so I can find them easily next year.
Mae does most of the decorating and I fix the decorations. LOL She got this guy a couple years ago and the LED was already near dead. Picked up this pack at a yard sale. 24 little LED's on each instead of one slightly larger one like it had. A little oversize, but they held nicely in a fuse holder. Attached old wires to the screw terminals and taped together. Sucker is brighter than ever. Just wish it lit the body better and the candy cane.

Cable from trans to speedo where GV has a sensor? Then wire to controller?
Yes, because the GV goes on a housing, the speedo cable is not long enough. So, they provide an extension, and a speed sensor goes between the stock cable and the new short cable. Then two wires to controller...

Makes sense

I was in the tool business for 10,220 days. About 30,000 miles a year. 840,000 total miles. Even at highway speeds, I spent 350/40 hour weeks just driving.
