Near the old homeland, Calico Ghost Town. Empties from the local saloons

Morning. snow on its way in so not much going on here. Need to start the wash, something about the wife doesn't have any clean clothes. Bacon and egg breakfast sandwich and coffee.

If the wife doesn't have any clean clothes, then she has to walk around the house naked.... :p

(Just pointing out your options...) :D

I only drink from glass bottles. Putting alcohol in aluminum or plastic should be outlawed
I don't like drinking from cans, but will buy cans and pour in a glass. Case in point - I didn't buy Yeugling a lot cause more than once i got off tasting/skunked bottles. Never happens with cans. Have been buying them recently. Also have found a number of very good Imp Stouts only available in cans.

My brother in law has a 72 blazer he rebuilt. Not a good job but not to bad. Anyway he wants me to put in a new wiring harness. Complete. Stupid me told him I would. O he painted it with a roller. For real.

The local, small time brewers in this area are almost exclusively using cans. I recall as a teenager, that it was HUGE when you got to the point of being able to afford bottle-beer. :D Moosehead was all the rage then. Prior to that it was whatever was inexpensive in a can.

egzakly!

Started and ran the fastback yesterday. Was going to drive it around but brakes didnt want to work. Since I didnt have help to bleed the brakes that was it for the day. Car started right up thanks to the ethanol free fuel in the tank.

A old neighbor that owns a coffee shop and commercially roasts just bought a portable canning machine. It is in a enclosed trailer and he goes to the microbreweries and can's their beer. Pretty cool for a small brewery to have canned product to sell. They can, label and palate the product.

Nice little side gig....

Yes, there's a very small operation near here that has a small bar (and food trucks usually). You can order "to go" cans and they use an old, hand cranked canner to draw off the keg and get you out the door. Pretty cool

Yep. She spent all week being nice, see my post from yesterday afternoon. I figured I’d be back in trouble by the weekend or sooner .

she’s in spring cleaning mode and behind my storage shed is probably 5-6 years worth of aluminum cans in a couple 55 gallon drums. Which we don’t keep pop/soda in the house very often, so it’s not a giant amount, probably 75-100 pounds or so. All crushed and what not.
Aluminum is at a super high price right now so it is a great time to cash it out.
