Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have only saw one once by the Susquehanna. Cool looking animals. You guys get weasels around? We have them. Never see them but definitely here. They eat the stomachs and necks out of fowl. PIA when I had ducks.

I just read the fisher can eat a dang porcupine, hardcore!
Porcupines are hardcore also. Jus coming around here in numbers. Man they can destroy a wood structure. Deans Shepard got one Man that vet bill was expensive to get the quills out of its mouth.

People swear there is a mountain lion or two in the area. Game cam pics sometimes. Fish and Game really fight that saying no way. Tell you what we were across the street last summer enjoying the fire pit and definately heard something like that fighting in the woods. Freaky for sure.

Any one ever hear a Lynx at night? We have a few sounds like a baby crying at the top of its lungs. Freaked us out when we first moved here.

fish and wildlife and the DNR here said the same thing for nearly 6-7 years, despite tracks, droppings and trail cam pics. Finally, after one got hit by a truck, they had to announce that yea, mountain Lions were back in Indiana.

now they’re doing the same thing with black bears. Saying there’s only evidence of one male black bear in southern Indiana, yet there’s tons trail cam, droppings and tracks just to the south of me, 90 miles from where they claim the bear is.

I saw one hit on the roaside last year south by york. Have not seen them here yet. But the farm junkyard has heard some farmers having issues with a few. You have to wathch them they can easily kill you had a crapload of them in HI on the big island. Had to watch the kids when we were outside.

Probably why the deer and rabbit populations are dwindling here.

They pretty much eat roots and fruits. But in HI they got real fat from all the guavas and sugar cane around also.

Heres a good one. Was at the gas station in HI and a guy hit a hog and picked it up and threw it in his hatchback. Well dam thing woke up and totally destroyed his car. Cops cam and could not shoot it with thier weapon. Local grabs a screwdriver from his car and killed it. Free TV at its best!

Morning wildlife watchers. Last nice day here as snow comes in tonight through Tuesday. Ready for this crap to be over.

Never heard of any around here. How do they skip counties and show up randomly hundreds of miles apart. They riding the bus?

Hey men. Another crappy nite. Still under the weather. Rained last night. I left a bunch of tools out. Working on the satellite. O well....
