Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning all. Last Sunday before going home and really start working. Half the time I have to come to work just to get some rest. Got to keep my mind on priorities that are planned out.
1. Fix F100
2. Finish up the 65 Fairlane for trip to SC
3. Work on house
4. Get as much car content recorded to get the youtube channel to 500 subs from 145.

Score! Around here there are a few places like that. You never know what you can find.
This area has five or six shops. A couple are just open the first weekend of the month. The others Thursday-Saturday.
Their inventory is constantly changing buying stuff, estate sells, etc...so you never know what you might find.
I have a 5x7 foyer rug, never used, on hold until Cheryl can go look at it.
I was really picky yesterday looking for specific items for the house.
It was the most I'd bought on one trip.
One thing for sure it beat going to the zoo all afternoon.

Hey, Zoos, are fun the one we used to go to in HI the monkeys would throw poop at you. Was fun to watch for sure.

F100 is drop out the trans, pull the engine, send flywheel in for new starter ring, drop oil pan and replace the new standard oil pump with the HV/HP unit, replace water pump and put it back in the truck.

Back home now?

So Danny (daughter) Comes over yesterday it was her B day. Nice to sit around and talk and fish with her and Stan. I had the bad vertigo crap happening so took it easy. She went across the street with mom and hung out with J for a bit. Nice having a friend that is friends with both of them right in the middle age wise between Kid and I.

Yesterday I spent four hours at the local arts district. It's a place to find antiques, paintings, and old room accessory type stuff.
I scored big three large paintings, a foyer table, pair of early 1900 candle stick holders, a nice brass table lamp, a glass vase with a large silk flower arrangement and a framed seashell collection to hang in the grand kid's room.
I enjoy doing this kind of shopping kinda like going to a swap meet and looking for car parts.

Very cool

Love spots like that. Went up to Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke,VA yesterday. Architectural Salvage and lots of other odds and ends to rummage through. If you're looking for a fiberglass aircraft nose cone it is the place to go :D

Just scored a real Chrome ECU still in the box, very hard to find them NOS for under 250.

Morning ya MoparIan mob! More experimenting with 38-55 again today. Yesterday while functional was not exactly a success. Working up new recipes is like dialing in your carb. Ya just gotta methodically systematically adjust it and be patient. And not change four things at once! Side note I am gonna hire Craig to come down and do the interior design on our new place! Sounds like Mitch is really suffering this trip. Hah! Hydrate Mitch hydrate!

Nice score.
Only the second real one I have had NOS. They sell fast with the ballast resistor.

Hey Craig with all you have going on how is the shop going?
I need to go out there and get some work done. I'm about 80% done. I need to start getting the cars out and do some shows.
I'm taking the trailer to the shop next week and get the togue extended about six to eight inches.
I have a trailer mover and need the extra length to turn corners easier and move it around the driveway.

Haha Cheryl has had more than one of her friends ask if they could borrow me...sure I can, but she always smiles and says NO.
Honestly I know what she and I like. That makes it really easy to go buy.
It'd be difficult to shop for someone else. For the most part it comes down to personal likes.
We were recently turned to a expensive interior designer, but decided we'd do it ourselves and make it our place.
