Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
I totally agree, seems this time of year i do get my head on the pillow at a good time and enjoy waking up when its quiet and all I can hear is the mild wind blow threw the trees. Coffee is much better

It's almost ridge top coffee bench-sitting season. here.

Arthritis dr visit this morning at 9:45, then if I am up to it, re-hand and my header on the passenger side after removing it to trim off a 1/4 inch more room down low near the front fram rail. Tuff job by myself but it is possible .. carb and a temporary fuel supply may go on after that if I am up to it

Blinking out.....
Have a good day Blinky....

Morning!
I dont think it went below freezing last night. Two culverts next to my driveway are still frozen, water rose high enough that its running across driveways.

Neighbor said the bass and crappie are hungry at his pond. He has a three acre spring fed pond with a nice dock to fish off.

My neighbor can tell you about how many big bass he has in the pond. He'll take five or six of them a year to keep them in check.
I had about 700 bricks in the basement of the new house.
We hauled them down to the pond and put them in two-three foot of water in a couple different places.

I got a set of Beavers on my creek wreaking havoc. Their work is flooding one of my pastures. SIL went nose to nose with Bobcat so I think natures alpha predator on our farm will prevail. Big cat 1 Beavers 0. That is my prediction.

If I had my own pond I would to, and even have a pump running a sprinkler when temps reaches 74 in the water.. would love to have my own pond

I had one on my creek years ago. At least he was taking his wood out of the woods and not my yard. A couple heavy spring rains washed him out. He kept coming back so I'd go down every couple days and tear up what he'd built. He eventually moved on. F&G buddy tried to tell me it was a muskrat...ahhh no look at the pics.

We are planning on cleaning our pond up come August when it is low. Our grandson the one pictured has designated an island as his. Jodi wants to post a sign on it! Pix is of him and his hound on shallow down hill side of pond.
