Good morning to all...Cold but not as cold as last couple of days......Going out soon to put new carb on my CJ2A jeep..... Want to get it running as I need to move it to get Plymouth out of garage.....Space is and always will be a problem until we move, whenever that may be....... Everyone enjoy the weekend

Morning, I’m a bit pissed off. Someone tried to play a f*ck f*ck game with me yesterday.

so when I went to town yesterday to get my hair cut, started the truck, put it into gear and wen to pull out of the drive way, the truck jerked for a moment. Didn’t wanna move, then heard a a slight pop, it started moving. Got out, looked , didn’t notice much but it was twilight. Was worried the clutch or trans or something like that but it drove fine all to town and back. So got up this morning and took it for a short drive, no issues. But being a cool crisp morning, or turns I’d here this slight metallic banging. Got home, crawled underneath, found this rusty ***** of a chain hooked on my drivers side frame, right above the pinion and driveshaft join. Get looking, I can see the scrap mark. So I walk the drive way and find this, the other end of said rusty small chain. It appears someone went and hooked a chain to my driveshaft for some f-inch reason.

Morning all yes, we had a tornado last night. It missed us by about four miles.
Of course it was 9pm and all except me were pretty hammered at Cheryl's retirement party at the sports bar.
Funny how we all live here in the Midwest. Everyone gets the tornado warning alert on their phone. They all looked to see where it is and the direction of the path. Oh 6 miles away and not heading our way....party on. Crazy stuff!!
I came home got the big light did a quick look no damage.

No. They actually weren’t home between the times the truck. That’s where I was heading, hair cut and pick them up from a friends birthday party

Staten Island...... Not nearly as cold as other parts of the country, so I shouldn't complain but still shouldbe warmer for this time of year

I was in the Pocono mountains yesterday morning and it was chilly there.
Just thought of something Ray, do you have a petronix unit for my 48 CJ2A? May be the way to go

No just Mopar ones. Amazon is the cheapest for them and get the Petronix I they seem not to fail like the others, all I use.
