Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wasnt a good night for mom.
Aparrently someone took her out of the hospital and put her in this apartment without her knowledge. And her sister stole her house and all of her money. Yup. This is all on me and my wife.
It’s tough when this happens.
My grandmother had this and died from it. There were nights in the later years of it, where she truly believed it was Memorial Day 1988, the day my uncle was killed in a tragic accident involving a go cart. She at one point was talking to the wall, with what was later confirmed to be nearly identical lines to the dr when he told her they couldn’t save my uncle.

All you can do is try and hug her and hold her tight until she calms down. It’s very tough and very hard to deal with. I feel for you so much. Prayers friend

Man Frank reading your post opened up a flood of memories when we went thru that with in our family. It is a terrible terrible disease. Sadly even tho you know for a fact the statements are not true and completely false every single one of them stabs you in the heart. At least she is safe from predators. In the early stages my Grandfather had a penchant for giving away his tools. Every couple days or so a neighbor would show up with a box or wheel barrow of stuff and explain, thought I would drop this off “Pop” gave all this to me this week! Good folks. But then there was one neighbor who preyed upon him, there is a special place for those folks. Be strong Frank prayers to you.

Basement is fine. Its not the 1”/hour downpour we had last week. And way less snow to cause backup.
Its a light rain. Steady though.
It rained hard all day yesterday and still going today. The ground can’t yet take it and the overland flooding has begun. Heads up guy the Red has now breached down here. This rain is going to cause a lot of overland issues.

Many yrs ago there was a storm approaching our city with tornado warnings, neighbor guy and I were out watching when the winds picked up, dust and lightning. Went to basement in a hurry, Tornado struck a trailer park and a young girl died. It struck the opposite end of city and there was considerable damage.
Morning all yes, we had a tornado last night. It missed us by about four miles.
Of course it was 9pm and all except me were pretty hammered at Cheryl's retirement party at the sports bar.
Funny how we are living in the Midwest. Everyone gets the tornado warning alert on their phone. They all looked to see where it is and the direction of the path. Oh 6 miles away and not heading our way....party on. Crazy stuff!!
I came home got the big light did a quick look no damage.

We had a EF5 go through the south side of a small town north east of here. It totally destroyed the south side where a few blocks north no damage.

Dam Them things are crazy! Saw one once right in front of me in a Neon! Hope I never see another one.

They are wicked especially when your affected. I've seen and been through many tornados living here in the Midwest.
The closest to a path I've lived in was two blocks.
I was working years ago when one hit on a Saturday afternoon.
I called it in coming out of the clouds.
I followed it for a couple miles while it was on the ground giving the dispatch/other officers a location so they could properly respond.

My wife’s grand parents lived in that trailer park, when it would get windy their flower pots would tip over, tornado struck the other end an their flowers weren’t even disturbed

There is a show in Ocean City next month he wants to bring it to so trying to help him out. That is my go to car to look at factory 71 stuff at. Think he owned it sinde 18 or so. I would say it is 80% original. Just maintenance items changed. Think Tim saw it once not sure. ell you what he wants to pay me told him no way I am learning alot on the six pack carbs which I never messed with before.
I had a 69 and a half A12 Super Bee back in the mid '70s. Was a factory 440 six pack car, 4spd, and a dana trac pac car. Learned real quick on those six pack carburetors. I think I sold it in 1978 or so. Sold it for $4,500 back then. LOL.

Did you see the issue it is having? Basically, breaking up at 2500 or so and the scope shows the ignition is fine. Just started this year he had pump gas in it no stable. Really thinking power valve. Carbs were pro rebuilt a few years ago no real time on them. Any ideas what to check? When he stomps on it and the outboards open it runs great.

Yeah I would suspect something wrong probably with the center carburetor. But you know me I would just take it off take it all apart and find out what's wrong with it. Could be the power valve though
