We are officially flooded, there is simply no place for the water to go. A lot of road closures and barricades here. The Red is well past flood stage. It is a mess. It has rained steady for days on end.

How does your house sit?? I think when this happened a couple years ago you said you say on a hill or bluff??

That sucks, what's the forecast, hopefully drying out. Has the Red crested?

Not good when "Turn around, don't drown" is in your forecast, read that up to 2.5 inches of rain fell and there's more today, sheesh!

Mitch get the paperwork for her to come here straightened out yet?
Yeah it's not a issue of me getting the paperwork straightened out. It's the department of Homeland security and USCIS that has the case now, and only tells you when the next step is. Like I told you before you can't talk to anybody on the phone. You just have to wait for the next mail instructions. I've been told it takes longer than a year. It's been in for just over a year right now.

Can she just fly into Tijuana and come across with the other 1000's? Timeframe is because you are trying to do it correctly.

Watching local news, lots of towns near the red river are in state of emergency. Here the winnipeg river is controlled by hydro dams, levels vary within 6 feet. There is a dike, if it fails it would flood 15 miles to the west of the river. There was a close one a few years ago, high winds. Waves hitting so hard was rolling car size boulders off the dike.
