My trimmer is driving me nuts, almost like not getting fuel, new lines, bulb, filter carb. No seal leaks in the case. Ready to toss it get a Ryoby.
I don't think summer is in any hurry this year. My Mother is on a road trip with her sister, in Montanna now, have had snow and hail. Headed for North Dakota, heard it's not much better there right now.
I had one doing that, even changed the carb and no joy, pitched it.
I serviced many, open the muffler and clean the screen or port out, to much back pressure.
Did that already. kind of a shame have maybe 70 hours on it. Hey any one go to say Home Depot lately and look for gas powered stuff? Not selling it any more!

I switched to all Husqvarna and only use their premix 50:1 fuel. Got tired of dislocated shoulders and broken pull cords on lawn tools. So far so good. Might all be in my head but I'm certain ethanol eats 2 cycle motors
It does it draws water into the crankcase.

I'm trying to put only 89 octane ethanol free in my small engines.
I use only Premium ethanol free in snow blower, weed eater, lawn mower and the toy cars. It lasts much longer. Ethanol absorbs moisture and turns bad much faster. I know many who use Av Gas for all seasonal items.
Had a new husqvarna,junk. I bought a 6hp walk behind trimmer. Now i dont have to carry it around. I never liked the curved shaft trimmers and straight shaft are heavy. Especially if there is a lot of trimming to do.
Dont forget most small engine spark plugs are junk.
I need a straight shaft since I have attachments for it. I use a harness on it it balances it out.

Last time I was in a HD (4 years ago?) they were selling 'small engine fuel' in cans. Expensive gasoline but for most easier than buying race gas - which wsa around 11/gal last time I bought.Did that already. kind of a shame have maybe 70 hours on it. Thats all over the place here. I just never tried it. Prob should a gallon would last a few months.
