Stop in for a cup of coffee

Steep slope I got steep and works fine. Just go down hill in certain spots.
The problem is turning on the slope. Ours is in continuous until it drops off a small 8 ft cliff into a creek.

Yes. Went to a local outdoor equipment shop last summer... all they had in stock were zero turns. When I described the yard topography, the guy said i should stay away from a ZT mower.

It was. Doug is a good guy did not charge him, just Beer and parts. I learned a ton on those carbs and dual points on a scope get masked by the better set.

Hey Ray. Men.....duel points just look like a longer dwell....is that the correct term? Tough to see a def set....

One set had a slight blueing to it, prob from the condeser opening, changed that got a bit better but nothing showed up just at around 2800 RPM or so. Weird one for sure add old fuel, blown powervalve, changed and got better, two guys not versed on a six pack set up Yada, Yada, Yada.
Dwell was rock steady at 42 also. Just weird.

Next time you put a dual point on the machine I bet you will test each set separately.

I always do when I build them. 30 each dwell +_2 and 40+_2 both. This was troubleshooting a problem at a specific RPM..

Speaking of dual points, I need to pull mine out this spring for a fresh set.

It's Modified Monday!

Good morning :D

Made it to shop, dakota with what sounded like a bad wheel bearing was what looked like stones. Grease got past seal and mixed with dust, making pebbles that rolled around in rotor fins. Loose bearing caused the seal to leak methinks. Seal looked good.

next, Lincoln for brakes and wheel bearing.

Same here, was told the same thing

Lunchtime check in...

Finally getting the exhaust pulled out of the Valiant and spending some quality time painting the underbody...looks like I need to focus on the shifter park cable that is leaking. Not a lot of options out there for replacements. I'm done trying the conventional stores. It's a time suck having to return a "guaranteed fit" item.

Stay safe

Haven't seen you wandering the virtual hallways.... How's school and the Beast?
well, its been good, just busy. started a new job at a mechanics shop after school so that has taken up all of my time. I changed the oil in the beast yesterday and I beat my buddy's 370z friday. Prom was Saturday; couldn't take the beast but I found out that a lot of the alumni have heard of it and it has quite the reputation
