Interesting jig.

How would you get the initial smooth surface to run the jig across?
Watch the video. It shows how. I’m just thinking it’d cheap enough to warrant a try. I mean I wouldn’t use it to build a house but I’ve got a bunch of logs down and it might be worth sawing them into lumber being some are Ash and Hickory

Time/effort math on the value. . The concept is cool.

It's ok. I will probably stop by if my schedule permits.
I see the finish line ahead. I enjoy the hobby and meeting people.
Never had or needed a bucket list. Just want to spend most of my time left with a friend.
I understand.

Well yeah. But I either have to cut them into firewood, or I can cut them into boards. Either way, I have to do something with them. None of the lumberyards here will buy them or even take them unless they are the ones to fell them.

I know my pop had 14" wheels and disk up front flip that anti rattle/hold down clip around and see what happens. Can see it rubbing in that picture.

Here's the latest adds to my vinyl collection, got these yesterday. The Neil Young is a 1968 album, don't think I've seen it before. The Smith record is one that my parents used to have and even though I have most of their records this one wasn't in them so I took a flyer not knowing if I'd like, knew every song lol! And The Who, this one has Eminence Front on it.

I have a couple cherry logs laying and at least one black walnut I will likely take down in the near future…
