Stop in for a cup of coffee

Eric @71GSSDemon spent the last weekend at the lake with a good friend and his wife. He has a 2020 28-foot Chaparral with the Mercury motor 440 horse all electronic everything. He wonders why when he turns the key it takes four or five seconds for the engine to crank over. He asked the dealer and was told that's just how they are. Is that true?

440hp? inboard I imagine. It sounds right, I believe there is a delay upon key up as the PCM wakes up, fuel pump primes the system, electronic systems check, etc. Our new forklifts even does that (key to "on", then have to wait to crank until the dash gives the ok), then there is a crank time out if it cranks without starting.

Ya in-board not sure what size he just said 440 horse. I'll pass it on.
He thought his old Colbalt started on the turn and felt this should too. Hey just be happy and go fast!!
He also wasn't happy of the size and location of the beer cooler.
I told him that wasn't your department...

Well, this is wild!
15 months of leg pain.
Physio for the last couple months, and yesterday i think she finally got something to move. My right foot isnt dragging this morning. So im sure it has been sciatica for this whole time. The hip pain is still there, and leg still aches. But nothing like it was. Today might be a good day.

Likely an 8.2L. As all these toys become more sophisticated, the more this will take place. As for the beer cooler size and placement (never the right size or placement)....nope, just the engine stuff, but mostly outboard exposure.

Alright I'm out really quiet in here this morning...have a great day see you on the flip side.

Speaking of thong Thursday due to some misguided corporate policies I will not be able to flip my calendar to August! Looks like I will have to stick with MeMike until Sept!
Good morning, can you explain  I am in the dark, but with everything that goes on in this thread it's that way most of the time

I slept wrong and my neck is killing me. Hope I can get some mowing done today.

So here in corporate America’s HR landscape our legendary dancing thong on beach is to risqué to be acceptable. Thus I cannot flip our FABO calendar to August in my office at work. However a camo shirt and big straw hat are perfectly acceptable! So I will be a month behind until I can flip it over to September. Of course I retire in September so woo Hoo!
