Good Morning All! The Highland Games were fun, saw some field strength events I've never seen before, like throwing a weight over a high bar with a pitchfork? Crazy stuff. Unfortunately I did not get into the Whiskey tent as the tasting started at 4 and the wife was overheating by 2 so we left : ( She did find her "Clan" though, bought a wood carving of the crest.

This tasting would have been worth the entry fee, will plan this out better next year and get there "on time" lol!

You kinda ssked for it ..this is right now. It started Friday night. Alternating ice, bending, straight, trying to walk a bit, etc. No fever or anything. Less pain today.

That is unfortunate you missed the whisky tasting. Cool your wife found her clan. I got my Clan Keith kilt from a Bag Pipe band in Washington State. Great Grandmother on Dads side.

When the patellar tendon in my knee grenaded, it sounded like a gunshot and then looked like someone put a volley ball in the middle of my leg. My surgeon told me he would rather do a total knee replacement than what he was going to have to do to me to reattach that tendon :lol: . After the surgery he told me it took he and his assistant at the same time to pull my quad muscle down from my thigh to do the connection :lol:.

That is not a happy knee. Not to wake Karl up but if you can probe each attachment with your fingers you might be able to isolate the root cause. I would start with inside or outside. Being an athlete I am guessing you have already done this tho which was why you are thinking gout? Ice on ice off, Tylenol for inflammation if you can take them. (brutal on stomach) let it heal guy, you may have just loaded it in an awkward position working on your Dads car.

Thanks John. I have probed around and the most pain is left side. I can't move the knee cap at all. The sheets on the bed were too heavy and painful so had to sleep on my side. Painful to the touch, but less pain standing or hobbling. Thinking with a peg leg, I need to send Marie to get me an eye patch and work in the word Arrrrggg more. And she is excited about us getting a parrot
 
Sheet metal sunday for me. Have a game plan, going to make a cutting jig, so no more measuring. That’s 1/2 the time right there.
 
In for a water break. Taping and painting the door frame ugh!!
I asked myself why I am I taping off everything I didn't want that least bit of paint on.
After all it's an exterior garage door no one but me or the wife will use.
Ugh just me and my OCD self needs to look as perfect as I can.
Oh well it's only my time.

They didn't make it. The daughter had played a one-day tournament and was late getting out.
Her and Cheryl are going out this evening. Cheryl is going to share her course knowledge.
Cheryl and I were driving into the parking lot when they called to say they weren't coming.
We warmed up took a cart since it was 95 and played nine holes.
We came home and made toasted turkey and cheese sandwiches with a big slice of home-grown tomatoes and a bowl of ice cream. :thumbsup:
