Our best friend from high school's dad owned an Ace Hardware store back then... They used to have topless girls on the Skill Saw posters... :D :D

And good morning crew. Knee is a little better. Still red and some swelling. The antibiotics seemed to have taken care of the strep. Woke with a migraine at 4am. Just starting to not hurt, but lots of cob webs and fog in my head yet. Been a hell of a week.....
 
Still no rain here .. grass is turning brown and as y'all know we have been in a burn ban for 10 days now
 
Speaking of things burning, I chatted with my brother in Alaska. He is fine and fires aren't close. Almost 3 million acres have burned, but rains are there now and it will help.

NAPA had some classy calendars of cars with ladies. Not sure if they were done nationally or locally as they had the local store name on them.

Yep, they sure did, they stopped in 2000 here, went to farm land and tractor pictures, there other one was nhra and nascar
 
Just got back in down checking the burn. My two piles have shrunk. Still smoking so still burning.
I threw the last of any scrapes that were worth throwing on.
When it burns out in a few days we'll disc whatever's left and call it good.
It's pasture so it doesn't need to look pretty.
I started with a 90'x 90' four-foot-high pile of cut trees and brush.
Just so glad the mess is gone.
