Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sad day here DesMoines, saying good by to a favorite friend I spent many hour working on.
She is going to a good home, buyer is a collector that will enjoy it as much as I did building it.View attachment 1715956612
Sad to see it go for sure. You did a dandy job on that one. Sounds like the buyer will be a great caretaker.
But on to your next hot rod. I can see a nasty little 273 with dual quads under the hood. Just sayin!

So @Fred Scigliano made it and we hit the car show. Out of approx 80 cars or so Only five Mopars there, and we all parked beside each other. Great row of tailights. Fred’s car stole the show! But then it started pouring rain and I got the moron of the year award. I mean seriously what could possibly go wrong? 600 plus HP on quasi street tires, a spooled 433 rear end, no windshield wipers, no heat or defrost, no power steering, total drag car drive it back thru town and hit highway for home. All I could think about was that stupid guy with stuck accelerator and bad breaks. I was thinking, I wad the Cuda up they will never let me live it down. Spooled rear ends in the rain suck, just saying. On bright side I have large Wilwood stop on a dime brakes and she was running like a top! Motors like dense cool air!

Looks like a good time, other than xxxx

Just came in to check radar to decide if I should keep painting or not. NOT.
Looks like Carlisle got hit with some rain (of course!) but now its heading this way and they should be in the clear.

I drove home in the rain from MITP with 2.91 and a spool. 2 hours in the rain. Thankfully I just swapped the center for 3.23 SG, much better. Looks like a great time.

Thanks FOG! Me and Fred had a great time, the pictures do not do Fred’s car justice. His paint and body work are just exceptionally well done. His engine bay really got a lot of comments. I swear Hemi knows his car. She was like a pup when he rolled in. Or she could smell the treats, not sure which? Hah! Once again FABO folks hanging out having a great time!

Well, I missed the Road America race car concours last night and now will miss Pierce Park car show tomorrow. Average of 1000 cars show up to that one. Being broken sucks. So bored!

Think your Cuda made a bigger hit than mine John mostly after you strapped that kid in the drivers seat and he was grinning from ear to ear all ready to try it out.
Really had a great time and really nothing better than visiting a brother Mopar fan.
Even Hemi put up with me even when I snored all night she still didn't eat me.

Glad you made it home safe, your car sounded great when you went around me at my exit. Johnny Mac would have been proud. All in all just a great evening and a great day. Now I got to go replenish the liquor cabinet! Hemi already misses the treats! You spoil her rotten. When it started raining super hard I could literally look right thru my AAR scoop and see clear as a bell. My scoop is 4inches taller than factory, I felt like a submarine guy looking thru a periscope but it worked!

Hemi ate all my treats Mike but next time I'll make sure she knows it's from you.
Would be nice to meet up at a car show with ya buddy and sure hope we can someday.

Was raining pretty hard and surprised you didn't have to pull over but glad you mad it home safe.
Figured I best pass you when you had to put on the breaks to exit because it would be the only time I could get around the Cuda.
And after the short ride in the Demon I'll just keep my car behind you so I don't get beat. LOL
