Stop in for a cup of coffee

That little sprinkle of rain we got yesterday was just enough to gather the dust and pollen on the Black Express to give it little white polka dots .

So I actually have good news for once!

i had the local utility come back out and redo their estimate on site. Over the phone the other week, they took my 2019 quote and adjusted for new costs of materials only. That cost went from 7600… to 32,000.

but one of their engineers came out today. Re did their site plan and got the cost down to 8500! And saved about 700 feet worth of cable

I got a beer says Tim’s next post will be “I made it home, will unload truck tomorrow “
I will take that bet, I believe we will hear from him near 9pm, he needs his rest Tomales the rest of the trip home, but, knowing how he drives he very well could drive and not hear from him till he gets 100 miles from home

Hope not. I'm sure the accommodation at Carlisle didn't help his ribs any
Well he brought a drum to drum 7 1/4. And leaf springs.
I pulled the rear out of his truck. Grabbed the leaf springs. I turn around to get the rear and Tim is right behind me . where do you want me to put this?
Hard to slow a good man down.

Because when you drive an hour to the DMV you want to see this taped to the door

Skipping? LMAO Gotta love customer's descriptions. "Cuttin' off" was a popular one in these parts. That could mean a dozen different things. 13 years at the service desk and I have heard them all. Sometimes driving around the block with the customer to confirm the issue, is time well spent.

Speaking of which, that's how I met my wife. She dropped her 82 Skylark off for a chugging issue. I drove it and so did the transmission guy. We couldn't confirm the issue so she brought it back. She drove it and it was a obvious TCC solenoid issue. Lock up as soon as it hit third gear. That happened at about 20 mph when she drove but at around 40mph when we drove. I met her that night for a drink and the rest is history.

Im cleaning up and getting running my 92 Ram 2500 Cummins. Yeah, its still wrecked., ( by my Son ) But its had no attention for 6 months. Crud all over it. Tomorrow I will go pick up my 84 Harley Wide Glide from my buddy I bought it from. Then I can tinker with that....

Pickiing up newly machined 66 383 black for satallite. Guy flew home and called me he had it.

Sorry, Cant like THAT !!!!!

Plowed through things.

Went "Year of manufacture" tags and daily use.

Caused a bit of a hubbub so multiple group huddles and trios to the supervisor's office had to occur.

SERENITY NOW

Title was not in the national database so that required a few extra steps. I had all the other paperwork ready to go.

System was still down so documents are all temporary. Said I should see the permanent ones in 7 - 10 days by mail.

I have 10 days to go by the garage and get the safety check done.

Took a while but I'm glad I didn't turn around when I saw the sign on the door. Most people did so there was hardly anyone in there

Lookie what I found not to far from my house 68 Coronet 426 Hemi the guy bought new and said there's only 20,000 miles on it. Hard to believe but damn nice car.
