Problem seems to have started when they forced win 11 on me. The driver for my laptop did not support win 11. New updated does.....going to see if I can roll back to win 10. Or maybe XP....
I cruised the dart in Escondido. Was fun. Had 60's music blasting out the windows. Was a blast...Sublime Suede?

Maybe one day we can share a cold adult beverage.
That would be very cool
God I love my grandfather. He really just have known his time was short without saying nothing.
anyway. At his estate auction I managed to buy back all his chain saws. Then going thru the buildings later, I found several ammo cans full of chain saw chains. My grandfather would save the chains, then sharpen all at once., he’d then put them in a ziplock bag with the date on them. All were sharpened a week before he passed. Anyway, I have 23 freshly sharpened chains for the smaller saw, 18 for the big saw, and then 6 dull chains for the small saw, 3 full chains for the big saw, plus 4 brand new in box chains for the big saw.
bottom line, I’m set on chains for a very long time.
2 Studebaker Avantis , many other interesting hot rods. Good time it was .
I dont think so. I took it to a show in April, the shake or shimmy got bad on the way home. It was never very happy with the steel wheels, but now it does it regardless.
My biggest problem is my camera picks up too much noise i don't want, like the ground crunching under my feet. I don't know how to add music and graphics yet, I need to spend more time with it.
I need to do more video footage on my 72 crew cab dart.
I can't travel by myself to the nonamenationals but I'm trying to build a car for it even through I'm saying upfront that I won't make it. It's too far into the unknown and my parents would flip if I told them I was going that far by myself.
FyI...just threw a wanted ad up for an A904 pushbutton transmission fur the 64 Valiant. (Slant 6) Thinking I may want to start a rebuild. The more I work on this thing the more broke it gets
I don't think so, as the spring keeps pressure on the shaft. And it looks like the end of the shaft with the pin is seated....Go Again Karl...
Sometimes it's good to walk away !
There should be a grove it rests in
i thought there was a set screw in that end. I’ll drop mine tomorrow lol
OK kids... thanks for the help and guidance. Also a.shout out to @65barracudaLA who had a picture of the spring attachment from his disassembly...
She is buttoned up, cable adjusted and getting ready to come down off the jack stands. I don't believe this is all that's needed to get it right but it was a big step.
