He likes using the low 1st gear set.......Mine has that was well......AND I would not re use the old convertor. Good chance to have debris in it and there is no way to get it out...... JMO.

Was stung by a bee yesterday on my eyebrow and my eye swelled up and my hands swelled to the point where I couldn't close them... One of my eyes swelled all the way shut - I look like the elephant man...

Please note this is coming from a racer/ welder hot rodder point of view. I really like the hybrid thing on the cougar, it actually goes together exceptionally well. Back in the day a lot of folks made a lot of hybrids and some worked and some didn’t. The cougar works in my opinion. You have to remember the industry was just figuring out how to bend and contort glass on a manufacturing level, thanks to the Corvette guys (I think). Everybody was experimenting with big back glass. Clearly Mopar had the best looking one! No bias here. Although the split window coupe on the Vette was pure sex, again my opinion. Think how many guys did away with the split window and hot rodded their vettes to a single rear window? Seems Criminal to us today, but back then? Not so much. Anyway this is my long winded way of saying i really like the Cougar! Think how good it would look in Sublime!How about this?

My Son Matt got the 68 Cougar, that his Aunt had, after she passed. 302 A/T. I rebuilt the engine in that car about 25 years ago.How about this?

How do you know, Tim??If it came out of a perfectly working transmission, then maybe I'd use it. BUT yours came out a transmission with unknown problems. Who know what is in there....AND if there is anything in there, it wont react well to your new transmission...Ask me how I know....

Had the pressure washer out yesterday. Decided to power rinse the Duster including the engine bay. I like to do that with it running to avoid starting issues after. Shot a couple vids...

There are places that will reman your converter core as well.

Think so. I have 2 places in San Antonio that do it. You would have to talk to a transmission shop to see if there is one local to you. I have to go to S.A. for radiator repairs but drive shaft stuff is one town over, so you never know what is in your area....New Hampton. ??
