Morning...Happy Monday for all you working stiffs...up and at em!!

Morning!
Another cool morning here. Looks like its going into the 80’s. Farmers are getting a break as far as harvest goes, decent weather makes things go so much quicker. So many years slogging in the mud, stuck machines and running grain driers make it so dreadful.

Cut some grass yesterday, kind of lost motivation with all the mom stuff going on. Shop closed until things calm down. This morning we are going to meet the doctor, get some idea what direction things are going.
Dimentia and cancer make this very difficult.

Prayers from here Frank.. Hoping all goes smoothly....

I hate hearing that Frank as we are just starting the dementia process with my Father. It was a huge driver in us moving back home to Ark. I want to spend as much time with him as I can. Good luck meeting with the docs. Sending ya all good energy and prayers.

Good Morning everyone. 54° and raining again today. Feels good for now, not ready for fall though. Supposed to be sunny by Wednesday and 80° by Sat. Made a bunch of salsa and some apple sauce yesterday while the pork loin was slow roasting. Used up most of all the vegies we had gotten from the neighbor. Was a good day.

Monaco story. CHP Monaco comes almost slidin' into the Chevron station I worked. An officer I knew yells "give me 10 gallons Alex!" and throws his Calif State credit card out the window at me. Gave him his 10 gallons, Corky never even shut the Monaco off, on goes the gas cap, the license plate slams back in place over the gas cap, the tires chirp, "I'll be back later!". :wtf: was that all about? About 3 hours later he returns to fill it up and reclaim his credit card. Seems they had a sniper situation on I 15 in the next town and that's where he was heading earlier. "I had some stuff I wanted to try out over there." and he opens the trunk to reveal a duffle bag lookin' thing. Corky opens it up and inside was his personal arsenal :wtf:. Scoped .06, AR with high capacity mag, .45 ACP pistol, autoloader Browning 12 ga. easy 500 rounds of ammo for his arsenal. "I never got to use it, They already had him by the time I got there." He was 60 miles north towards Vegas when he heard the radio call and it was another 35 to the crime scene. Even at 120mph :steering: that's a 45 minute drive. He was sure disappointed that he missed the fun. :realcrazy:
