Stop in for a cup of coffee

Nice! A clean Poly 318 would be fine. 361 or 383 would be good as well. Nothing bigger. I can't afford a Wedge car or even a clone. The bigger the engine, the higher the price.

Just about everything you see for sale someone has stuffed a 413 or 426 into it seems... Me: "Oh, nice car...looks clean" (opens add) "Max Wedge...asking a bajillion dollars"

Yes. He was taking a trailer load up...

Probably a long one for me. Not certain, but good chance of Saturday work. That's OK, can use an OT day - been a while.

I'm trying to scheme how to take advantage of the weather this week and things finally drying out a bit. Tough to get 3 or 4 days of dry weather this year. I need to get the deck furniture cleaned and sealed up before winter weather starts to show up

True that. Almost impossible to find but a 330 or 440 model with a 273 would be cool. I have some extra Hi Po dress up parts to make it look cool.

If you go that route, then get one that's more of driver instead of a car show type car.
Notchback is more stylish, fastback is slightly better balance and chassis stiffness but has the small trunk. Probably big enough to carry both sets of golf clubs though.
Either choice is a good one.

The small trunk on the fastback is more of an illusion... If you put the back panel down, it had much more space... Then if you put both the back panel and back seat down, you have plenty of room for hauling...

I drove fastbacks to college every day... I lived in IL and went to school in Detroit, I could fit all of my stuff for my dorm room in one or two trips... My tool box bottom, my stereo including receiver, ?CD player, two tape decks, four speakers - two large ones and two medium ones, plus my clothes... All in one trip....

My mom drove a 67 fastback when we were little... When we grew out of our cribs and needed a twin mattress, it fit in the back of the Barracuda fastback with the back panel and back seat folded down... When we would visit our great grandma an hour north of us every week, she would put the back seat and back panel down and bring two sleeping bags and pillows and my brother and I would lay in the back and watch the stars and street lights and fall asleep when we came home at night... It was cool to watch out the back window until we fell alseep...

In college my best friend moved to Texas with his mom and didn't like it... He moved back here and stayed with his older brother and needed a bed... I helped him get a single water bed so he would have something to sleep on at his brother's apartment... We went to the water bed store and bought the cheapest water bed for him for $150 and loaded the whole thing in the back of the Barracuda fastback... The kid at the water bed store was blown away that we fit the whole bed in the car... He said, "I've never seen anything like this before"... My best friend told him, "These cars are cool"...

That's why I'm such a fan of fastback Barracudas, they are great cars with lots of load carrying capacity, especially for their size and being a 'compact' car....

I had planned to replace a lot more area of the deck(s). At this point I think it's going to be restricted to worst ones. I still have several boards in the garage. Need to at least get those in. Also lots of shrubbery/tree trimming I should get to. Too much time spent doing the bathroom and too many aches and pains slowing me down... Right now I am focusing on trying to have a yard sale the 24th. I gotta get some unneeded crap out of my way!

I gotta put this johnny71dusty dude back on ignore before I lose it.

A few weeks ago we tossed around whether super Mitch should go to the rescue.
I think it will be like helping someone with lots of enthusiasm but knows much more about cell phones and posting than making an ICE work.
Could be interesting or could drive you nuts.
Looks like Mitch made the right decision.

He is the thickest person I think I've ever run into. It's unbelievable.

And you see I FOUND his EXACT fuel pump and posted a link. I'm just waitin for him to say "no, that's not mine because it mounts the wrong way"
