Problem was the wind blew 20 mph sun-up to sundown. With the 130 heat it felt like you were standing in front of a hair dryer. Any exposed skin turned red in a short time. I remember March to November every morning 4am it was all ready 100 degrees. But it's a dry heat. How hot is the hottest it ever got?
WOw. No doubt. -20° and it's cold!-60F ambient air temp... wind chill didn't matter at that point

I have seen Millions of dollars of equipment damaged when removed from the plane and dropped because it was freaking scalding hot. Gloves just kept the heat in. I remember that Craig and you never sweat! It evaporated to fast.Problem was the wind blew 20 mph sun-up to sundown. With the 130 heat it felt like you were standing in front of a hair dryer. -60° to 147° with a 20 mph wind. I think it was Craig's hair dryer vision that did it.EWWWEEE Which one? Asking for the dog
Oh yeah especially electrical did not like change of seasons of the cold in the altitude, was some fun troubleshooting for sure.Been on both ends of temp extremes causing equipment failures.
