Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yep and not cheap.
$2500 installed. It's Overhead Door. The shop is owned by a guy my wife knows from Rotary. Our old wooden door is finally rotting away. It is from the early 60's we think. She has been a good one.

Any pics?

The new one will be like this minus the windows

Good morning everyone. Woke up with a bloody nose, but got it taken care of right away, just up too early on a Sat. Snowing now, was raining last night about midnight. Strange.
Was Marie beating up on you last night? :poke:

Yes, these are 1:1 linkage on both carbs. All 8 barrels at once, within reason as there is some primary movement before secondary but not much. These are not double pumpers, 1850 style. No sure how secondary idle gets fed. I knowing I add metering blocks to the rear for jet changes, the idle mix screws will not work as the carb bodies aren't drilled for that. Does that help?
Not enough for me.

But here's the simple answer: racingfuelsystems-T slot question

Woukd loveto look into this more but no time now.
There's a whole thread on the 660s here racingfuelsystems-Holley 660 acc pump squirters
but I dont have time to study it this morning. Plus we'll still need to know what you've got.
Take phtos and I can walk you through it when its raining here or in the evenings

Humidity must be low from heat use, its a cloudy day this morning, wife stayed up late cooking, and I see she picked up her mess , kitchen was busy all day yesterday.

I have like 5 months before I can run the car again other than in thr garage, no True hurry. Thank Matt. I will check out those threads. There is a sight called MaxPerformance. On there a several decade long Holley engineer who had some great info also, mine just didn't line up with his info for the slots. Then possible idle speed adjustment with the secondary screw. Also, 660s have a vacuum port plug to the secondaries that is often used to have air bleed instead of drilling blades.

Thanks for the pictures I've never seen one appart.
do the cables adjust?

I think just the park cabel has one not sure of the selector cable has one would think so.

There are some adjustment checks on the mechanism itself and the cables as well. Shifter cable is more complex as you can adjust the length to a certain degree using a threaded wheel and locking bolt. There's a procedure in the TSM where buttons are held in place and tweaks are made.

Nice young fella doing the door install. All by himself. Used to work for them and now works construction. Does some residential installs on the side for extra cash. He's a worker. It's good to see.

I have seen this track, never new it was that old, new management and a big race in April, we have a couple racers that will make that show near by
I was kinda surprised to see it's only a 1/5 mile  I think the racers around there will like Chris as the owner, the fans too. He does his job well and treats racers and fans with respect.

Be sure to tip him for a clean and secure door installation, back in my day it was ceiling fans and lights, boy the market sure got flooded by them back in the late 70es and early 80es.

I have to agree, seeing some hustle in this new generation had to be a site to see.

Good idea about the tip.

The Christmas parade organizers covered their bases last night regardless of the weather forecast for this morning. NO PARKING signs abound and numerous Honey Huts have joined the community

Morning fellers and fellets. cold and windy here this AM. Still fighting the tumble weeds, but they are no match for the brush hog so finally getting the upper hand.

So you all know how I get totally crazy ideas? I’ve got a whopper now. Thinking bout going back to college again… to HotRod U
