My mornings are free for a couple of hours after I dropped her off for yoga. So I've been going around trying different coffee shops or cafes. Trying to find the one that has the prettiest women in the mornings. Lol. Now at Cafe Golden .

Evening. Dad goes in for surgery at 0730 tomorrow. 4-6 hours minimum. I’m scared like never before. 5-6 bypasses. Open heart surgery. Ugh

Hope all goes well. Just remember these people are professionals. They do these operations every day. Your dad is in good hands.

Now at one of my favorite cafes by the river. Just going to kick back and smoke a cigar and read a book. The book is called Triumphant Warrior. It's a true recount of a helicopter pilot and helicopter group based in my city of Vinh Long during the Vietnam war. There were LSTs on the river with flat tops on them which housed the crews and the helicopters. There is also a land army base and airstrip here. I am interested in the history of the war in this city. So I have been checking into it and buying books that are related. Pretty interesting.

That was the last dinner with friends for the year. I hope. Waay too much food again.

I am still stuffed. The wife and I made it home from across the state. We had a bowl of popcorn for supper. That was enough. I am enjoying a sip of a 6 year 8 month old bourbon. Barrel strength of course.

If you ever want to read a good book you will have to read North S*A*R By Gerry Carroll . Excellent book he was a real pilot in Vietnam . I've read a lot of books about the Vietnam War . If you ever need any good recommendations , be glad to give you some .

Looks like an early wake up gives me the being first this morning.
Coffee is on help yourself just clean up your mess this ain't no restaurant...haha!!

I got an extra four in the house with the kids here from Florida.
My local granddaughter finally made it back from Oregon, so she's spending a couple nights.
My step granddaughter comes tomorrow and will be staying for four days.
A house full of kids fun times!!

I just woke up to a dream of back when I worked with kids. I had taken them to a camp with an obstacle course and I was trying to find them all to head back home and couldn't find them all. And I was driving my buddy's 67 Chevy Impala. Pretty much all has happened in my past. Interesting dream

I have some strange ones like that also. Weird what the memory does sometimes. Some can be fun and some are WTF!!

I wake up often thanking God that all of my dreams are pleasant. I rarely have nightmares and I have friends who have night terrors. I feel blessed.
