Stop in for a cup of coffee

Paying a visit to Maman's house where there is extensive renovation going on. Some of you may remember some pictures I posted a few weeks back. All the tile was down off the walls then. Now they are redoing the tile. Most of the rooms inside of the house the walls are tiled now. But I want you to look at the living conditions while living on the construction site. There are six people living in this house while it's under construction including Maman. I don't think I could do this.

Can't say I have ever seen one of those but the engine is a Honda knock off. Automatic shift. Clean it up and ride it

Morning!
-5. Not bad. Except for the freezing rain.

Nothing, getting ready to leave this hell that is Gatlinburg. Way too damn many people for me. The average wait time last night, at 830p for dinner, 4 hrs and 55 minutes. For carry out

Pop needs some surgery, Heads, New ring gear. Time to pull the motor to do it all. No way I can do the heads with the motor in it.

Burnt valve I am pretty sure on #2 right where I cant get a leak down tester in. Ring gear probably cracked when it was kicking back on the hot start issues I was having a few years ago, Scope definately shows compression loss. Crap heads anyhow want to get some 906 or better yet 440 source heads. Never enough $$$ for that right now. Dog is still up in the air, she has been ok and finally getting Gravel to lay the container down. Dam it is hard to even get that delivered now!

You never drive it. When are you going to do this work?
Might have put 200 miles on it. Always something. Not leaving this time till it is done. Way to many irons in the fire. Never should have bought the cuda. Really need the container first to clear the shop so I can have a place to lay it up for a summer to do it.

Tikes retirement gift?
View attachment 1716027499Sorry he kept the black one.

Have for sale a brand new, never used Red Snap on popcorn maker/machine (model # SSX19P107KO) still has the plastic and protective foam around it along with the owners manual. Bought this one and a black one and decided to keep the black one for myself.

Morning!!
Came out to the living room to find one of the older grandkids curled up in blankets on the living room floor.
Who knows why someone else probably wasn't doing well sharing the bed. I'm sure later I'll hear all about it.
Pushed me out to another room for coffee and computer time.

Well I recommend you ditch the 440 source head idea. There’s a better option for the same price. Todd Marsh out of North Carolina makes and sells what he calls Sidewinder Heads. They flow comparable to the Edlebrock performer RPM heads that I have. And in some areas, out flow them.

Now, just like 440 source, the base casting is from overseas, it’s not China but I forget where. Todd takes each of the raw blocks and CNC mills and ports them out. Does all the work. I spent about 4 hours on the phone during 2020 as he was shut down for covid, listening to him walk me thru how he does it.

He then custom builds out with whatever brand or type valves, springs etc for your exact combo.

All for the same or very close to the same, 440 source cost and half the cost of the Edlebrock RPM heads. Infact, I wish I’d stuck by my original plan of getting a set of his. Even though the deal from Mopar Tim was great, I’m still gonna be in for nearly twice the Sidewinder head costs.
