Good morning everyone. Got my front driveshaft frozen ujoint changed yesterday. Ended up having to cut all the ujoint strap bolts off, then removed the yoke to drill all the bolts out, retap the holes, hammered the ujoint out amd replaced it, then put it all back together. All while working in a mud puddle and slush. Damn I am so sore today.
Flying up to Hanoi tomorrow for a couple of days. 15 members of the family are going. Guess who paid for all the airfare ????

Cheryl has a bad cold but getting better by the day. She thought she should do a home test and I asked why?? Other than a cold you're fine.
I asked the daughter who her and family is staying with us, and she said they've all had covid and not worried.
My K-State team takes on Alabama tomorrow in the Sugar Bowl. They'll have their hands full.
New Year's Day here is just another day in other words no big deal.

The daughter was married to a young man from Hanoi. Yes we were there a few weeks ago to discuss wedding details. The wedding was a week and a half ago. Now their family invites us to come up to Hanoi for celebration. Always a celebration somewhere in Vietnam.
I remember those days working in mud, rain and cold and now being older I would be sore as hell.

The older son and I went for haircuts at Phil's Barber Shop yesterday...
They are an old style barber shop and give the old style haircut... Trim the hair in your ears and touch up the eyebrows, and use a straight razor to clean up the side burns and back of the neck...
Phil puts out a 'mini bar' for the holidays with some mixed drinks so the customers can have a drink while they are waiting or are getting a haircut... He puts it out the day after Thanksgiving and takes it down on New Year's Eve...
I plan my haircut every year so I can get my holiday 'toddy' from Phil...

I was buying some anti freeze the other day...
One gallon of pre-mix was $17 and one gallon of concentrate was $12.50....
So that means you are paying $4.50 for a half gallon of water...
Also one gallon of concentrated antifreeze when diluted will make two gallons of 50/50 costing a total of $12.50...
Where two gallons of the 50/50 pre-mix will cost $34...
Who are these idiots that buy 50/50 anti freeze???
