Speaking of table saws, I need one and I need a planer. Anyone got any recommendations?

You should see how many frieds you did not know you had when you have a lift! Never again will anyone use it unless I am there.

Yep...

An engine lift also...

I once loaned mine out to a mechanic friend that I worked with at the local Sears garage... I got it back and he pinched the handle slot closed is supposed to go over the valve for the cylinder to lower it using the handle as a pry bar...

Then when I was in college in Detroit, my friend Danny borrowed it to pull the engine in his 69 Camaro... Came to my dad's house to pick it up, then six months later tells my brother to come pick it up or he will get rid of it because it's in his way... (Not to mention that he loaned it to his neighbor that I don't even know)...

When he was in need he was more than willing to come pick it up, but when he was done with it, he couldn't be as good as to bring it back... :bs_flag:

After that, new policy - I DON'T LOAN OUT THE ENGINE HOIST!!! :icon_fU:

Started a long overdue job in the basement yesterday. Painting some walls with waterproofer. I did the main 'family' area when we moved here 30 years ago with sandy finish drylok. Using smooth Behr brand stuff on my 'office' area now. Probably 30 ft of wall. Maybe someday I will do the back part that is storage, utilities and shop. Biggest part of the job is moving all the stuff in the way. But it forces me to go through it and I am getting rid of a bunch and organizing what's left.

Organize, what's that???

Never had any trans issues on ours. Magnum, Journey, Neons... That Getrag? in the Magnum seemed pretty tough.

I bought my wife a brand new 95 Neon...

I had to have that trans rebuilt three times by the time it reached 63,000 miles...
