Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got my Dakota radiator yesterday. It's in pretty good shape. You know how shipping goes. A dime sized fin gouge between the tubes and one of the trans cooler nipples was bent a bit. Neither are an issue.

I was going to haul the car and show it at Carlisle this summer. I'm thinking now load the trailer with all my spare parts and take it to Carlisle and sell them. Heck I'm even thinking of selling the cars too. I had my fun time for a change.
I should do that with my 66. Drive it to MITP and let it hang out in the car corral. I have a lot of friends there that could give me a ride home. (I hope) LOL

I have a guy who asked a few weeks ago if I ever sold the Barracuda, he wanted first offer for it. He's a MOPAR guy and knows it's value.

That would be a couple of cars that I’d love to have, but I already have enough and couldn’t afford them

Seriously thinking of selling the Duster before long. Probably do a 'refresh' of the interior this Spring/Summer. Need to pull carpet and make sure the floor hasn't started rust from door leaks. Put in new package tray. Paint a few panels and headrests. Do touch ups on the exterior body and paint.... Don't know if I will spend $ for better door gaskets or just keep it covered after. I just don't drive it enough and don't see myself doing a lot of shows. Of course I could change my mind once it's 'done' again. LOL

I have another Mopar I need to own before I get too old to drive. May be even a street rod. I think my wife might enjoy that.

I've read your build, you sure put a lot of work into your car, hopefully you didn't re-rust the De-ruster.

Here you go, how about this one?

Doesn't help that the same part on a Chebby is half the price...IF you can find it
I don’t know that that is true these days. Buddy of mine has an LS he got, he paid the same for it as I did for one of my running 3rd Gen hemis, to go carb like he wants, the intakes are still 600-700, 3rd hemi carb intakes are about 800.

Really the biggest advantage of a Chevy is that every parts store in every town is likely to have whatever part you need in stock

Ugh hate to see that. Sign of the times I guess. Lots of you all considering selling. Hell I’ve considered it

Shouldn't be too bad, but I'm sure there will be some. Unless they are kept in a perfect atmosphere storage, they are forever rusting in areas we cant even see. I even sprayed the inside of the frame rails with Eastwood stuff. But no way I stopped it. Just slowed it down. It sits outside most of the time. It's on concrete, so not too bad, but still... I really enjoyed the build and will probably have fun with a little rework. But don't see myself doing perpetual maintenance on something that I drive a few times a year.

Made some progress on my home lighting project yesterday. Changed out a bunch of old incandescent and fluorescent pigtails. So those areas are better. I think I resolved the flickering LED's in bathroom by changing one fixture from Home Depot's Ecosmart bulbs to GE Reveal. The bedroom fan dimmer seemed OK with LED at first, but found they would not turn completely off. And the Kitchen dimmer is completely incompatible with LED. So I am keeping those incandescent for now. Will change the dimmer soon. And hopefully be able to find the intermediate base bulbs till the fan dies.

My garage door opener light glows with a led bulb in it. No idea why. Lower resistance I suppose.
