Think my 73 would be the same and was no cloth on them just a kinda cardboard with a print on them.
I didn't like it so fixed mine with a cloth aftermarket headliner glued over it.

There Chris this was factory after I glued on a better fabric and Yea mine has a sun roof so might be a bit different.
