No, I don’t shoot without a good target, especially given what’s would be behind him. That and hollow points thru a steel door wouldn’t work well, he was a fast son of *****. Didn’t get a good look. Just dark coat, and mask on his face.

-12° this morning. For whatever reason i have my thermostat on farenheit in the house. Pellet stove maintains 73 degrees with furnace off. I find it cool, but ok to sleep. 4:00 i tried to go back to sleep but couldnt. Unlike chris, sitting awake all night im sure. Thats some scary stuff right there. What’s interesting or rather coincidental is that on Christmas Eve morning, I woke up to finding the trunk of my dads car broken into. With tracks in the snow leading to the road. But nothing stolen. Been here 10 years with never a problem. Wife grew up just down the road a bit and her family has been here since the 60s. Craziness

BFE has its pros and cons but generally this stuff doesn’t happen much. Probably some tweaker looking for something to steal. 99 percent of thefts around here are meth related. That said, I’ll be checking my storage shed come day break.
 
I am having the same problem. Just little things missing. I am finding cigarette butts and empty beer cans in driveway and yard.

Never happens at my house in Maryland. Don't know what the problem might be in Indiana. But I'm not interested in spending any time there apparently

I like being at the end of a gravel road. There's no "passers-by" opportunities. Anyone who comes down here is very exposed
