Afternoon all. Hit the ground running. Hope everyone is doing good.

That youtube thing isnt easy at all. Takes some dedication. Think im on #16 with the studebaker.editing is a challenge.Yup, watching him, Scott and fitzee made me miss building stuff. this my current situation.. the bastards
GMC went ok today. Traced a few wires and cobbled up a column bracket. Buddy made a bit of a mess, couldnt get bolts started in the dash brace,tapped em crooked and the integrity is now questionable. I will probably drill them oversize and tap to 3/8” now.
I thought I saw some Eagles today but turned out to be turkeys…oh well same thing.

Not for me. If im blocking by handi dond need no stinkin hinderances. And the dust falls straight down mostly. Not to mention having to listen to a shop vac while sanding. May be good for a “Boutique” type garage, but not mine. And i’d rather spend the $100 on good quality abrasives.

Spent a few hours in the garage.. passenger front floor is patched, had to pull the right rear inner panel to grind/weld near it in the back.. thought i could brakeclean/relube the window regulator but nope. that **** was caked on and rock hard.. so now that's all apart.. i wear to god i will have to remove every single bolt out of this car before i'm done I hate window regulators... just no experience with them, so time to learn. Hope the FSM shows what to lube and what grease and such, from what i saw it looked like mostly white lithium

I took mine completely apart and yep window regulators are a pain on older cars. Mine on the drivers door I could never get right I have to open the door to roll the window up all the way. Yeah... i am dreading getting the windows adjusted and all that but i have to do it.. so it is what it is now
Besides my car being a 1 year only car if i break a window i can basically scrap it.. sooo i hate pulling them out.. Ok.. done babbling, have a brake clean headache that won't quit
