Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good idea couch potato sounds good.
It does.. but the patch on the passenger side is only like 3x5 inch.. feel better if i knock it out.. the 3 small spots in the rear seat area are gonna suck as i don't think i have much really solid metal to weld to. It's Solid as in no holes.. but not so solid for welding to :)

The last few weeks tempacher wise at the Brat's house has been about like here, 60s during the day kinda thing. My Brat in Law has done the food truck kinda thing down there to show off his BBQ rub. They did tacos at a sreet festival and sold 400 dozen tacos
wow that would be great but worn out after all that cooking.

That sucks. I've seen guys fiberglass over floors like that and was surprised on how well it held up. I never tried it.

Dang, that's a lot of tacos.

Yeah, trying not to avoid that.. from underneither the floor looks almost perfect, when i pulled the rear seat there was a lot of heavy pitting, the patches will only be like 3x3" if that.. i will weld them in as well as i can, grind then seam sealer and paint.. good enough for this :)

P.S. catching up on sick weed videos... would love to do an event like that one day

I did Tri Tips for 200 at a religious retreat and was bushed afterwards  The meat was perfect when I pulled them off the fire, nice little pink stripe right down the middle :D . The cooks that were doing the serving said "It's too rare!". Had to throw all those steaks back on the fire :BangHead: They shoulda told me beforehand they wanted it brown all the way through

Sounds good I had a bit like that in my Scamp I welded it up and used POR-15 acid etch and there paint then took and did the inner and outer floor in truck bed liner.
Seems to be holding up but then it really doesn't see rain and is in a heated shop.

Think the pink down the middle is the best.

Yup, i use phosphoric acid or corroseal, then brush on rusoleum, the stuff is like cement when it dries. My thought it, this car will never see michigan snow/salt again and the most water will probably be if i run through a puddle. It will be fine :)

The skinny pointy end of the tri tip is almost always well done. So ya gotta figger that about 1/3 of the stuff is well done when it comes off the far.

That looks delicious! I wish we could get tri tip here. I would have to ask the butchers at Fairway. I would smoke that bad boy and finish with a quick reverse sear. These photos aren't mine. (I wish they were)

I had never even heard of Tri Tips before I moved to this part of the world. I was hooked immediately  OMG why are theses things so cheap at the market? They're unbelievable ($.99/lb on sale) :D "They grind those things up for hamburger everywhere but here on the coast." was the response I got to my inquiries

Yep, it's just not fair!
:mob:

We went to a music festival at Laguna Seca Raceway, up there between Monterey and Salinas. In the concession area I spy "SANTA MARIA STYLE TRI TIPS" at one of the vendors. Step 1, I got down wind of them to determine which fuel they were using in the fire  MMMM red oak, good start. Vendor's banner says Sacramento on it, oh boy . "So ... Where y'all from?" I asks. The lovely lady behind the counter says "Sacramento now. My husband used to be an engineering professor at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before we moved to Sacramento State." Cal Poly is just up the beach 30 miles from here  "I'll take 3."

Good afternoon,

Man, 9 inch blades for this table saw are unobtainable locally, gonna have to order online. Which isn’t a bad thing, I can get two Lenox blades for the price of one of the store brand 10 inch blades at Menards
