The railroads brought the Eucalyptus into the western states from Australia to use as timbers for the railroad. They were drought tolerant and pretty tough. Problem was, the wood was brittle and would crack under the weight so they gave up on using them... but there's tons in the desert states still ..
They were used for wind breaks because of their low water needs round here. One of the neighboring villages is mostly a giant sand dune and backs up to the sea on one side. They planted those Eucs on the seaward side to keep their village from being Barstow by the Sea to keep that sand on the ground where it belongs

Up past Frisco on PCH, Ft Bragg, beautiful area. They have "Glass Beach". When Ft Bragg was still a fort, they used to dump their refuse over the bluff directly into the sea. Well the sea did it's magic to recycle all that glass in the trash and then the currents did their best to deposit that recycled sand on a beach right next to town  It's easy to see that it's all glass and the sharp edges are all polished off so your bare feet don't get all cut up

Karen

Middle aged woman, typically blonde, makes solutions to others' problems an inconvenience to her although she isn't even remotely affected.
Karen sues the local city council after they installed a new STOP sign that hides the sun from her window for two minutes a day. The sign was installed after a school boy on his bicycle was hit by a speeding driver and died.

Karen refuses to wear a face mask for her 5 minute trip to the supermarket during a pandemic. She harasses the workers, asks to see the manager and threatens to sue.

Karen complains that her favorite parking spot was replaced by a ramp for wheel chairs. She parks her car in the old spot anyway and shoots a vlog about it
I don't like her already. lol

I have seen photos. It is cool stuff.

Morning, Blowing snow and cold here. Good day to stay inside and drink my coffee. Did have to go out and feed the horses though.

Well I’m off to the hospital for more testing. Catch ya on the flip side

So Jodi got home late last night from OKC, this morning I get up to open the gates for contractors and decide to use her truck so I don’t fire the diesel up for a one mile round trip. I jump in her truck, start backing up, glance over my shoulder and two big brown eyes staring at me! Holy smokes I about jumped thru the roof! Since the boy was traveling by airplane they tossed a six point mounted deer head in the back seat of Jodis truck for us to mule up to Ohio this summer. Scared the crap out of me! Did not see that coming!
Now that's funny, I would have left some skid marks.
