Was giving me directions to Home Depot which is about a mile from his house and got all tangled up. Then got to service desk and he could not remember his wife’s phone number for order reference, and he had forgotten his phone at home. It is very hard to go thru as I had to do the same with my grandfather. Brings back a lot of memories. I just look at each day I have left with him as a blessing. Very soon I will likely long to share time with him regardless of his condition.

I feel for you John. As you know im dealing with this as well. Mom has good days and bad days. With mom, she isnt interested in any activity, including having her meals. Very weak and can only walk a few steps. Falling is the biggest issue at the moment.

That is also sad to hear. My mom had a weak knee. She was 93 so too old to replace it. The last time she got up by herself to go potty did her in. She took a nasty fall and broke her collarbone but she hit her head on the floor. She was gone a few days later.
 
:rofl: :rofl: I got a 2 week vacation from a Iowa Whiskey Chasers group on Facebook for using the word "raffle" in a post. Apparently it's a trigger word for Facebook and that site. In all reality, what pissed them off is when I reported a thread that had "raffle" in the title. Shortly after that my commenting privileges were taken away. And people think I'm a hard ***! :rofl::rofl:
