What they forget is that there's youtube and that's pretty much free
I'm one of those crotchety old guys that says ya get what you pay for there.

There's about 4 youtube channels I think are worth looking at (all firearms related) and none show how to take things apart and put them together.

Let me check my library I may have it. If I do I will send it to you just send back when you are done.
You know if you don't have it, I could do the same. I'm not getting to any engine rebuilding this spring or summer. Be lucky if I get the sure grip and dif redone.

I guess thats it for our warm spell. Rain is coming friday. It will help knock back what little snow is left. Checked on my son’s place, sump pump quit, it will have to be fixed before the rain. Good thing hes home tomorrow.

Here's the kid I was watching... simple, entertaining. Definitely not in depth but gives me an idea of process.

It's hilarious when I tell my older brother about the assistance I get from you guys. He's been a Chevelle guy since he was 12.... He's like "I can't believe that brain trust you tap in to. Chevelle guys are too busy hiding their VIN numbers to help each other out."

Check ABE, and there's some others too but I can't remember them right now.
Have Ray do a tempest search?
Put a wanted ad out here?
Any used bookstores in range?
Check your local libraries. They often have a whole section of automotive books. And if they’ve not been checked out in a very long time, sometimes they’ll sell them to you for whatever the sticker price was . That’s how I got my vintage 1974 Dodge Dart body and chassis manual. Hadn’t been checked in two decades, asked the library manager if I could buy it, she said sure.
