Don't work to hard Fred! You all have a good day I'm off to work the rest of the week.
Gotta replace a boxside on an aluminum Ford pick up. Hate pop riveting and glueing just seems wrong.

THe Spicer one allows you to put in transmission ratios (O/D) if you like. If not, just use 1:1Thanks Mike I like this one better than the one I was using.
3:23s, best damn gear mopar put in a car I believe.THe Spicer one allows you to put in transmission ratios (O/D) if you like. If not, just use 1:1
Good morning We/ They/Us
Remember mimeographs. Can still smell those copies! Not sure, but the dates on some of these things are from the early 1980s!! Probably photo copied but I’d wager the original was done on a type writer. At least the formula sheets for sure.
I read yesterday where someone said "I was born visible but I identify as invisible. My pronouns are 'who/where'. " Made me chuckleGood morning We/ They/Us
The morons have been loosed.I read yesterday where someone said "I was born visible but I identify as invisible. My pronouns are 'who/where'. " Made me chuckle
Thanks but is it sad that of that lot, I have 48 of them already?
Yes!
I knew what you meantHaha mean DREAM setup.. not dread setup "Everytime i shift it hurts!!"
Minor surface rust. Chrome good. Tires need replacing due to age.
Ya best get better soon Mike summer is almost here.I have not been sick for 3 or mor years, I am on my feet, and I believe because I never get headaches is why I am just feeling miserable, headaches as this head cold (or what ever this **** is) has me downing Tylenol 3 times a day, back and front of my left side of my head... started last Monday, 9 days now..
I think a hair cut could help.

I like this plan!!Evening gents
I have a course of action determined for the Valiant. I have located an unmolested, 1964, small block, pushbutton A904, complete with flex plate, kickdown linkage, and cables. The owner still has the 273 that it was mated to (1964 casting). The slanty is coming out...although I will hang onto it as it had a great deal of work done to it. It may find a new home in a future vehicle (Crazy me would like to get a U.S. built 64 Valiant to show the difference)... anyhow.. that's down the road A LOT.
Next steps after the Cannonball Run to get the transmission, is to start the teardown and rebuild of the 273. Thanks @lkopaska for pinging me on that other 904... I still plan to unscramble this poor one that I have on hand since there's so much blood, sweat, tears and $$ in it.
Initial direction with the 273 will be a stock build if the cylinders and other components are in good shape and don't require any touch-up.
Cheers
good plan on the 64 It's 75 and sunny out.. and i just don't feel like working tonight.. this fuckin shoulder.. been bout 6 weeks.. was hoping it would get better.. wahh
I like this plan!!
Good to see you avoiding Anheiser Busch products there Fred!Dinner tonight is gonna be chicken and potatoes. Chicken will be dipped in a fine batter and deep fried to perfection. Potatoes will be sliced up and also fried with a tomato and vinegar dipping sauce.
A bit of gourmet dipping sauce for the chicken and a fine glass of world class A beer.
Leftovers from the bar at lunch but taste better if ya add a bit of class to it.

What’s it up to nowThanks Chris
Keep in mind that I know exactly squat about rebuilding engines... but @memike and @toolmanmike have good threads that I've read through.
I'd still like to know what is up with the MOPAR small block build book that was written by Don Taylor being so dang expensive?
