Stop in for a cup of coffee

Have not seen any whitewall in that size. Also, I think 215 is largest size for the 5.5" wide wheels I am going to use.

I just put these 225/60/14 on the stock 5.5" wheels with no problem. Un-mounted, the bead width was 5.5" so there isn't any tread distortion.

IDK about whitewalls but BFG makes redline tires in that size.

If you jump to the 15" wheel, you will probably have more choices.

Well oiled leather
Hot metal and oil
The scented country air

Sunlight on chrome
The blur of the landscape
Every nerve aware..

Just a really cool song lyric..

And no bubbles!

Just a few really minor ones where the roof to quarter panel body seam is. Just enough to show her age but still look great!
You can see them in this pic...

Your just under the recommended min width of 6" I agree they look great. Getting very limited in 14" and not much at all for WW. No go on 15s cause my covers are 14...

Dave, the car looks great!

Thanks! She's coming together now, can't wait to start cruising her soon!

All that's left are the spring shackles and the front end alignment before I get her back...hopefully mid-next week. Then I can start detailing her and getting ready for the car show on the 22nd.

You should have that done tomorrow, but I'll give you until Sunday.

It's my Speed Shop guy's Birthday tomorrow and he is taking it off, so I'm giving him a pass. He will do the shackles over the weekend but we need the rain to clear off before he drives it over to the alignment shop 10 miles away (don't want to drive an unaligned vintage car in the rain with all the lunatics on the road). Right now, that looks to be Monday...but it might be Tuesday.

Trailer my friend.. trailer..

This guy is kinda like Mitch. He's really good, but semi-retired. He doesn't really need the money and works on what he wants to...his hours, his way. I've known him for over 30 years and we sort of grew up together.

I could probably talk him into trailering it over to the alignment shop, but given the cheap prices he charges me to do the work and all the extra stuff he does for free, I really don't want to push him that much. He lets me turn wrenches on my car in his shop without charging me for it. I pay him for one thing while I do the other.

Besides, I'm not in that much of a hurry. The weather here sucks with all the rain lately so I can wait. It's not like I will be out driving it before the rain clears off anyway.

OHHHHHHH ...you mean that !!!

I answered him via PM ....because we started talking about some other stuff......you know Mr. Anders is a pretty cool cat. I am glad he is part of the coffee crew.
Why thank you, Rani. I'm not so sure I'm all that cool. Just bruised.

I do love cats, though. We had to give ours away though when I developed an allergy. We all still miss him.
