so if i saved my cat out of a shelter.....does that mean he is actually a jail bird??
The shelter will say it's just that, a shelter. But when you go in there it doesn't really look like a shelter because a homeless shelter has beds and food and the occupants are free to leave whenever.
the animal "shelter" looks more like jail to me. Locking compartments, a death row, and restraints for "unruly" prisoners. you wouldn't call jail a "shelter" of rogues would you?
most cats in the "shelter" were caught on the streets involved with theft of trash and menacing, many are even sex offenders if you really think about it.
