Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well. A fun night. I found out what caused my problem Saturday.
I'm in the hospital with a blood clot in my right lung.
They are trying to dissolve it with blood thinners.
I'll find out today how long I'm in for.
Hay bud, prayers are sent for healing and strength, lets heal up and get back home as soon as you can

So, if I buy a lift without a shop to put it in, would it be easier to find a way to build a shop because I already have the lift? Or would I just have more **** in my yard/driveway? I really need both a shop and a lift!

Matt put one on a pad outside his shop here for basically spraying fluid film on the bottom of cars. In PA also.

It's Twister Tuesday!

Good morning :D

Yeah a buddy has one on the pad outside. Even in crappy weather it is better than no lift I suppose. I moved the Charger to the front garage/shed this last weekend which meant bringing the Demon to the garage. The car is smaller and painted nice and bright. What a difference in appearing to have much more room. Still need an actual shop. 30x40 would be perfect for me

I had a 48x40 pole barn put up for 18K but that was 10 years ago. If any one does that get it spray foamed. My biggest regret. And also under floor heat. Had to deploy a week before they poured the slab or would have run it. Did run tubes to the far walls under the slab for wiring though. Works well.

64 now, 85 for the high today, going to be a muggy hot day today, rainy last night so it's going to be a steamy day here.

Sprayed 15 gallons yesterday, new wand seems to be more economical. Stuff is starting to wilt. Keeping the extra in the tank for a few days see where I missed.

That spray foam is the best, but man its very expensive, my 30x40 would be near 7 grand to spray just the ceiling

Yeah, my buddy has an attached 30x40, detatched 30x30 and a 40x80. His are all full too! I mostly need 2 parking spots and a place to work. 30x48 is the largest I can put up without tearing the current main garage down.

Yep, 4 years ago I got a quote of 3 grand
I need a ceiling in there badly. Going to use that foil face bubble wrap stuff. Think it is r12. Easy to put up cmes in 4'x100" rolls. Around 200 a roll will need three of them. Can borrow a JGL to do it. Just need the shop semi cleared to do it though!

One thing I miss being retired is that shop we had at the rock farm. It was built for 4 mixer trucks, after they moved all the truck repair to town I had full reign of the shop to do pretty much whatever I liked in there.

Yep, that will help hold heat in and keep summer heat out , my roof sure gets hot in the summer, thats not bad for all the good it does, I like it

Whats nice it will staple up. My rafters are 48" apart. Not sure if I will need furrier strips or not. Might sag in the center.
